- General category students should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in 10+2 exams, while SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 40% aggregate in Physics & Mathematics, along with optional subjects like Chemistry/Electronics/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science.
- English must be one of the languages studied in Pre-university college.
- Diploma holders should have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in a diploma conducted by the Karnataka Government Board of Technical Examination or equivalent. They are also required to appear for the DCET exam conducted by the CET cell, Government of Karnataka.
- NRI & Foreign students must have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and optional subjects like Chemistry/Electronics/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science in 10+2, from any board or council recognized by AIU.

 

The undergraduate course selection process is as follows:

  • Students must pass the relevant qualifying exams for admission.

  • Allocation of desired streams is based on students' ranks.

  • Short-listed candidates are informed about personal interview schedules by the admission office.

  • Administrative executives make final selections based on candidates' overall performance.

  • Results are communicated to students via their registered email IDs.
