New Horizon College of Engineering Admission
New Horizon College Admission is open to both Karnataka students and outsiders. The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the courses
offered by NHCE will be selected based on their academic merit and aptitude.
New Horizon College of Engineering Admission Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Undergraduate Program (Bachelor of Engineering):
Applicant must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized university or board with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory
subjects and an aggregate score of 45% in optional subjects (40% in case of SC / ST and OBC Candidates). English should be a compulsory subject.
Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate Programs:
1. Master of Technology (M. Tech): Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in the specified stream and AMIE in the specified branch. Additionally, candidates must have qualified in the GATE exam. A minimum aggregate score of 50% in all years of the Bachelor’s Degree is required (45% for SC/ST/OBC Candidates).
2. Master of Business Administration (MBA): Admission is open to candidates who have completed any Bachelor’s Program with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC Candidates). For MBA admission, students must appear for either the PGCET, MAT, or KMAT entrance exams.
3. Master of Computer Applications (MCA): Applicants should have passed a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC Candidates). Candidates must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in classes 10 and 12. Additionally, candidates must clear the KMAT, MAT, or PGCET entrance exams.
Eligibility Criteria for Doctoral Programs:
To join the doctoral program at NHCE, applicants must undergo the VTU selection process, which includes a Research Aptitude Test followed by a personal interview.
Management Quota Admission:
Candidates aspiring for higher education in engineering and technology, but who have not qualified for the Karnataka government's entrance examinations, can still enrol at NHCE through the Management Quota Admission.
Admission Policy:
NHCE admits applicants regardless of caste, creed, gender, or nationality. However, all candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the admission council. Additionally, candidates must ensure they submit all required original documents to complete the admission process.
