RNS Institute of Technology Admissions, Bangalore, welcomes students from across India and abroad for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs. The Government of Karnataka sets the reservation criteria and admission norms for the college.

Admissions to the college are facilitated through entrance exams such as KCET or COMEDK. The KCET exam is for candidates who have domicile status in Karnataka for at least 7 years, while the COMEDK exam is open to both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka candidates aspiring for engineering programs. Admission to 45% of the seats is based on KCET scores, while 30% of the seats are filled through COMEDK, with admissions being merit-based.

The eligibility criteria to get admission at RNS Institute of Technology under KCET are given below:

 

  •  General category students must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in their 10+2 examination, while SC/ST candidates must have secured a minimum of 40% marks.

  •  English subject should be one of the languages opted by students in their 10+2 curriculum.

  •  Aspirants awaiting their 10+2 results are also eligible to apply.

  •  Candidates must have completed their studies either in a Karnataka Government institution or a recognized institution for a minimum period of 7 years, spanning from class one to twelve.

The eligibility criteria to get admission at RNS Institute of Technology Bangalore under COMEDK is given below:

  • Candidates must have passed the PUC or 10+2 examination, or an equivalent exam recognized by the State/Central Government, with Mathematics, English, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects.

  • General category students must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45%, while SC/ST candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 40%. Additionally, they must have passed Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry individually.

  • Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the COMEDK exam, as there are no lateral entry admissions under COMEDK.

  • Personal Interview

  • Final Selection
