Established in 2011, Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The admission department at Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management receives numerous applications from across India. The college boasts a dedicated team of experienced faculty members responsible for overseeing the admission process. Admission is based on entrance exam results conducted by the government, such as the Common Entrance Test (CET) and COMED-K. The admission cycle typically commences in March and concludes on July 31 each year. Through CET, lateral entry (Diploma Quota) for the 3rd semester begins in July/August.

DSATM offers a four-year engineering program with six disciplines, along with a five-year B-Arch course, a two-year MBA program, and a three-year MCA program as part of its curriculum.

Admission Process:

  • Candidates who have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to apply for the BE course.

  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in any discipline are deemed eligible for entry into the B. Arch program.

  • Admission to the BE course is granted based on the merit of candidates in the CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by the government. Admission to the B-Arch program is facilitated through NATA.

  • Graduate applicants with a minimum of 50 percent marks in any specialization are eligible for admission to the MBA program. Students who have qualified for any of the national-level entrance tests, such as CAT, XAT, or MAT, will be admitted to the MBA course based on merit/rank.

  • Bachelor's degree holders with 50 percent or above marks in mathematics at the graduate level can apply for entry into the MCA program.

  • Those who have passed the Karnataka-PGCET conducted by KEA are eligible to participate in the MCA program based on their test scores.
