  • Class 12th exam scores: 

Qualification for courses at Sir MVIT Bengaluru is based on a candidate's class 12 marks, which must be at least 45% across all boards. They just need to submit an application and pay the required fees for under-graduation courses. The marks from 12th grade are enough to qualify for admission in some courses at Sir MVIT Bengaluru.

  • CET: 

Every year, the Common Entrance Test is tentatively held around April by the government of Karnataka. Students with Karnataka domicile may apply for this test, and the seat allocation at Sir MVIT  Bengaluru is done online. CET will be used to fill 45% of the available seats in the total intake. Additionally, with the tuition price waiver provision, 5% of Supernumerary Quota (SNQ) seats are also made accessible for the deserving-economically disadvantaged students.

Applications for admissions are available to both undergraduate and graduate programmes at Sir MVIT Bengaluru. B.E., B.E. Lateral Entry, M. Tech, MBA, and MCA are the programmes available for admission at Sir MVIT Bengaluru. Candidates can apply through COMEDK UGET or KCET for admission to the B.E programme. Qualified candidates must show up for COMEDK UGET/KCET counselling after the release of the cut-off and rank. Candidates must meet the cut-off after the result is announced in order to be admitted to the PG programme at Sir MVIT Bengaluru through the Karnataka PGCET. Candidates may also apply through GATE for admission to the M. Tech programme. Candidates who have been shortlisted must show up for Karnataka PGCET counselling. The submission of documentation and payment of fees is the last stage in the Sir MVIT Bengaluru admission process.


A student is qualified for admission to Sir MVIT  Bengaluru, if they receive at least 45% in high school or intermediate from a recognised board. However, if a student needs to pass an entrance exam, such as the CET or GATE, they must complete the standard application process, which includes filling out the application form, sending the required paperwork, and paying the application cost on the official website of Sir MVIT Bengaluru. Every year, the entrance test is tentatively administered in the month of May by the consortium of the management of the private institutions in Karnataka. Students from Karnataka and outside of Karnataka may take this exam. The COMEDK test will be used to fill 30% of the available seats in the total intake.

 

•    B. Tech candidates will receive information about the COMEDK UGET exam after their application has been confirmed by Sir MVIT Bengaluru. This online test is given at the computer labs of academic institutions all around the state.
•    Candidates must first satisfy the requirements for eligibility.
•    Candidates must then show up for the COMEDK UGET exam, which is given by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka.
•    Ranks and the cut-off are made public when the outcome is announced.
•    Then, students must appear for the KCET, which is held by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
•    Those that make the cut-off must appear for COMEDK UGET as well as KCET counselling and choose Sir MVIT Bengaluru.
•    Ranks, filled preferences, seat availability, and other factors are taken into consideration when allocating seats to candidates.
•    Candidates that are chosen must report to the designated college, complete the required paperwork, and pay the required fees.
•    The candidate's rank is established based on how well they perform on this exam.  Exam rankings will be posted on the official websites. The student is granted admission to the Sir MVIT  if they meet the requirements.
•    Students who are not pursuing a degree in engineering should just complete the application; their admission will be determined by an internal test and how well they performed on their 12th-grade board exam.
•    There will be entrance exams like CAT for MBA, GATE for M.Tech , group discussions, English proficiency tests, and personal interviews for students wishing to enroll in a PG programmes, such as the MBA and M. Tech at Sir MVIT Bengaluru. 

 

Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology Bengaluru  Eligibility Criteria
•    10+2 with a minimum of 45%: This requirement has to be fulfilled for B. Tech. For admission into B. Tech, a candidate must have scored 45% in maths and physics. 
•    Graduation with a minimum of 50%: This criterion has to be fulfilled for MBA, MCA, and M. Tech. For admission into M. Tech in Sir MVIT Bengaluru, a candidate must have bachelor's degree or equivalent in the appropriate discipline with a minimum of 50% on the qualifying examination along with a valid score in the PGCET/GATE exam.


•    For admission into MBA, a candidate must have the required degree from a recognised university. A minimum of 50% in the degree is required. Participated in at least one PGCET/CMAT/KMAT entrance exam.
